Job description

Revenue Growth Executive

Growing the number of customers using features Ticketsolve Pay and Ticketsolve Protect.

About the role

The Role

This is a commercial role within our Revenue & Growth team, working alongside sales and marketing. You will own the conversation that brings existing customers onto features that make a real difference to how they operate, from the first call through to a signed quote and a live account. You’ll start with Ticketsolve Pay, our built-in payment service, and Ticketsolve Protect, which lets audiences safeguard their bookings should they be unable to attend. You’ll carry clear targets for the number of organisations you bring onto each, and as our platform grows, so will the range of features you look after.

This isn’t an account management or support role. Our Customer Success team looks after the day-to-day relationship; your job is to find the opportunities, make the case and get them over the line.

We want to be transparent: payment paperwork demands persistence. Finance teams are busy and some applications need three or four polite nudges before they are complete. There’s also plenty to learn, from card fee structures to how our platform processes payments. If you’re comfortable having commercial conversations and take pride in getting things over the line, you’ll find this role highly rewarding. You will work closely with the Head of Revenue & Growth and our Customer Success, Onboarding and Accounts teams.

Ticketsolve: driving success for arts, culture and heritage organisations

For nearly two decades, Ticketsolve has worked alongside theatres, arts centres, festivals, museums, and visitor attractions across the UK and Ireland. Today, over 400 organisations trust us to manage their ticketing, marketing, CRM, fundraising, and payments.

The last couple of years have marked a period of significant growth. We have repositioned as the premier live experience platform, bringing everything an organisation needs to sell, market, and understand its audiences into one unified system, with new features released weekly. Ticketsolve Pay and Ticketsolve Protect are integral to that story and represent a growing share of the value we provide to our customers.

What hasn't changed is our approach. We view ourselves as a partner rather than a supplier, and the depth of support we provide is one of the aspects our customers value most.

Team Ticketsolve

We are a team of around 50 people, and many of us have firsthand experience working in theatres, festivals, and cultural organisations. Our culture is built on trust, respect, and deep understanding. We never expect the impossible, but we do expect your best.

We work in an agile way, which means we set high standards and maintain open communication about how we can continuously improve. While most of us work remotely, we prioritise coming together at regular meetups and our annual retreat. As the newest member of the Revenue & Growth team, you will join a close-knit group that readily shares successes and collaborates to refine our processes.

Key responsibilities

Building and converting your pipeline

  • Build and work your own pipeline of existing customers who could benefit from Ticketsolve Pay, Ticketsolve Protect and other platform features, by phone and email, alongside leads referred by our Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams.
  • For Ticketsolve Pay, request recent statements from a customer’s current provider, calculate their true costs and, with the Head of Revenue & Growth, present a clear quote showing the financial savings and operational benefits.
  • For Ticketsolve Protect, use real-world examples and case studies to show the supplementary income it generates and the admin it removes from the box office.
  • Answer follow-up questions from finance and box office teams, bringing in internal specialists where needed, and work with marketing on campaigns that raise awareness across the customer base.

Getting organisations live

  • Once a Pay quote is accepted, manage the verification checks (KYC or ‘know your customer’) needed to activate a payment account, tailoring the document list to each organisation and following up until the file is complete.
  • Submit applications to Mangopay, respond to queries and challenge decisions if an application is rejected in error.
  • Coordinate Protect activations with Customer Success and Protect Group.
  • Keep each organisation updated on what’s outstanding, then hand over to our Onboarding and Customer Success teams and track go-live dates so momentum isn’t lost.

Tracking and targets

  • Keep accurate records in HubSpot so the status of every organisation is clear.
  • Work towards clear, measurable targets for the number of customers using each feature.
  • Share customer feedback and bottlenecks with the wider team to improve how we work.

‍

About you

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, tenacious and commercially confident. You thrive when managing a clear list of tasks, take ownership to stop things drifting and are comfortable discussing financial details. You don't need to be a payments expert on day one; we will provide the training, but a genuine enjoyment of detailed work is essential.

Rather than a strict checklist, we see the following qualities as the foundation for success in this role:

Highly Organised with a Strong Eye for Detail

  • You are adept at managing multiple applications simultaneously and always know precisely what is outstanding.
  • You naturally spot discrepancies, such as an out-of-date document, figures that don't add up or invoices covering the wrong period.

Persistent and Adept at Following Up

  • You follow up politely and consistently, and you are entirely comfortable asking for the required information more than once.
  • You are proactive in finding ways to make it as easy as possible for busy people to provide what you need.

Confident Communicating with Finance Teams and Customers

  • You feel comfortable engaging with finance managers, box office teams, and directors, both over the phone and in writing.
  • You can translate technical concepts, such as card fees or verification checks, into clear, plain English.

Comfortable with Commercial Conversations

  • You’ve worked to targets before, whether in inside sales, account management, merchant services or similar, and you enjoy seeing your numbers move.
  • You can articulate the value of a product with a consultative approach rather than a hard sell, and you’re at ease comparing costs and presenting savings.

A Passion for Learning

  • You are naturally curious about how systems work and are excited to dive into a new platform and industry.
  • Bonus: Experience in payments or fintech, or an interest in the arts, culture and heritage sectors, is warmly welcomed.

What we offer

  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with extra days accrued for long service
  • Remote working from anywhere in the UK
  • Regular team meetups, social events, and an annual company retreat
  • Pension scheme with up to a 3% employer contribution
  • Enhanced maternity and adoption leave
  • Dedicated professional development and CPD, with a management team invested in your growth
  • Fully covered travel expenses and per diems for work-related trips
