Ticketsolve is delighted to once again be the ticketing partner for The Gathering, Performing Arts Forum's flagship annual conference - and of coursewe'll be there in person too. Now in its 20th edition, The Gathering lands in Belfast for the first time on 26 & 27 May 2026, bringing together artists, producers, arts workers and organisations from across the island for two days of conversation, connection, and community.

About the event

The Gathering is the landmark event in the Irish performing arts calendar — a place where the sector meets to think out loud, share what's working, challenge what isn't, and set the tone for the year ahead. Belfast 2026 promises to be something special, with day sessions at The Lyric Theatre and the night programme at the Clayton Hotel.

This year's programme is being shaped by Ruth McGowan (Curator) — Literary & New Work Director at the Abbey Theatre and former Artistic Director of Dublin Fringe Festival — and Alice Malseed (Creative Producer), a Belfast-based theatre-maker, writer and dramaturg. The full programme will be revealed in the coming weeks.
